Last weekend the Sussex Egyptology Society (http://www.egyptology-uk.com/) spent the weekend in the North West of England visiting the Egyptian collections at Bolton, Manchester and Liverpool.
At the Manchester Museum the group visited the galleries, storesĀ and had a handling session with material from Illahun/Kahun (pictured), with Joyce Tyldesley and myself.
