collection, the animal mummies, the predynastic pottery and the jewellery, as well as students looking at the Nubian material for their Museum Studies MA project. I am working with a volunteer on the collection of stelae that came from the Wellcome collection in preperation for a PhD student who is interested in the material – some lovely pieces which have had images uploaded to the database today.

I am going out next week to talk to the Wirral Ancient Egypt Society on Monday and the Egyptian Cultural Bureau in London on Saturday.

Otherwise, teaching, and work on the gallery redevelopment continue, as well as dealing with a number of research enquiries from all over the world.
