Egypt section of ICOM, the International Council of Museums. The conference brings together Egypt curators from all over the world to presents papers on their collections and developments in their displays, and allows for discussion of the issues surrounding the curation and display of ancient Egypt in museums. I will give a paper on the proposed Egypt and Archaeology gallery redevelopment at the Manchester Museum, and Gina Laycock will present a paper on the work of ACCES, the subject specialist network for Egypt curators in the UK.
